Turbulence is a chaotic story of love, compassion, honesty, lies, and the intertwined lives of young men, and the secrets hidden in the shadows of eyes too young to lie! A young man on the run, another who questions, a cousin with a secret, an ex-lover who can't move on, and a brother who's longing for answers. Who are they in this series? The story centers on Divan, a devastated young man who ran away from a toxic home who could not accept who he really was. With only his dog as a companion, he chanced upon a generous soul in a person of Landon, another young man who had no idea that opening his door to a drifting stranger would also begin to open a heart he thought was closed to anyone - and to someone he never would have expected. These two characters would be played by real life couple, Paul Cervantes and Kennedy Nakar, leads of the recently concluded, Lakan the Series and who recently joined the roster of talents under Asterisk Digital Entertainment. This would also be their first venture into producing their own series together with other partners. Turbulence is a 10 episode series of between 15-22 mins per episode. The story of Divan (21), fled his home with nothing but his dog, and his camera when his accidental outing became a heated discussion with his military step-father. It is also a story about Landon (22), a guy with PTSD after discovering the body of his bestfriend who committed suicide inside his own bathroom. It's a story about mental health, family, the question about religion and what really defines love; its about differences, the traits that compliments personal healing and what really makes a man and how love need to experience pain before it can be let go.
