Monte Hale is a stagecoach driver for Jed Baker's stage-line. Jed believes his brother, Ralph, is behind the many hold-ups of his stagecoaches but has no proof. Ralph, in turn, blames Jed for the attacks on the linemen of his pioneer telegraph company. Big Bart, a ruthless gunman and outlaw-gang leader working for crooked banker Jordan Weatherbee, is actually behind the troubles of both companies. Bart plans to frame Jed for a double-murder, then kill him. Monte saves his life, and together they devise their own plan to bring an end to the reign of lawlessness along the timber trail.

Sarbajaya is a family drama that revolves around the married life of our main protagonist Sarbajaya and her husband Shambhu, their families and the ups and downs that they face. The movie paces with the underlying issues of the society of the 70s in rural Bengal, at the turn of development and globalization. Sharbajaya finds herself in a series of problems and is faced with tough choices when she finds out that her husband has loaned some money from rich landlords, and that too by lying. Situations take a turn for the worse when she asks everyone for help, but no one can offer any help given their financial conditions and the ego and pride and the very nature of Shambhu. On top of it all, she is expecting and both families are shocked to find out that Shambhu, in a fit of rage, strangled her in the middle of the night and has gone off on a rampage. The movie ends on a happy note as Shambhu is being taken away by the police, but he makes up with Sharbajaya who wakes up from her state of shock, only to reconcile with him now that he has realized his mistakes.

Stella Watkins has moved back to her hometown in hopes of landing a new job but gets more than she bargained for when unexpected love finds her through a local church minister; however, her seemingly perfect world is shattered when the minister's dark secret begins to unfold.
