Summary Arsenio, a documented Mexican national, finds himself living the so-called American dream as a golf course foreman at an exclusive country club. Arsenio and his expecting wife, Julia strive to maintain dignity in their adoptive country while surviving in an urban landscape far from his coastal hometown in Mexico. The arrival of his undocumented brother Chino obligates him to help his brother gain employment. Arsenio's good intentions interfere with his dreams and cause unexpected consequences while at the same time, paradise begins to poke its head.
