But as the happy choir take part in the Aussie tradition of singing Christmas carols at their first ever public performance, the audience starts dropping off -literally. And so, the happy choir must sing their way through a performance that gives new meaning to the term 'killer hook'.

While Veronica and Lewis can agree that every Australian has had a horrible experience at some point in their lives while traveling, it's this weird and odd real story that has them questioning Australians and their behavior overseas. Using a genre hybrid of horror and surrealism, this story finds an Aussie traveller missing the signs that something might not be quite right with the hotel he has arrived at. Before long, in something out of a nightmare, he discovers he's not alone in his room, and the chase to rid this uninvited guest turns into a strange experience for both him, the hotel staff, and a pigeon.

What could go wrong with a wedding proposal? Veronica and Lewis agree that getting a 'no' answer could be the worse, but then again, this real story comes close. YouTuber and Facebooker Ozzyman Reviews gives a running commentary over a recreation using stock videos, animation, and actual photos, of an adventurous proposal plan that is shattered by Mother Nature. Peter's planned his proposal for 6 months, and finally the moment arrives in a foreign country on top of an active volcano. But Mother Nature has other ideas, and she violently interrupts the big moment, giving Peter and Emma a wedding proposal story that becomes national news.

Veronica and Lewis remember theirs, as sweaty teenagers with no experience on their resumes. But in this real story, a teen on her way to her first job interview gets into an argument with her mother that has disastrous results for her dream career at Blockbuster Video. Re-created using a green screen style reminiscent of the 1950's, and with a cardboard car, Genevieve Morris and Demi Larder take the mother daughter argument to a 1990's level.

What could go wrong with a piñata? The end of year work party is one of the great Aussie traditions. And the pinata is a great party tradition. But when pinatas and work parties mix, the result can end in pain and disaster. At least, as Veronica and Lewis realise, that if a disaster is going to strike at a hospital work party, you've got help right there -or do you? When a party goer comes off second best to a golf club and a pinata, the new hospital manager must get the victim to hospital, but as the injury is severe and they must travel to get help, they realise it's not as easy to explain why someone would give a golf club to a man dressed as a monk to hit a pinata blindfolded. Using colourful character animation, this story tells the lesson of when a (not so) good idea, goes horribly wrong.

Reimagined using pop up paper puppets, we learn the lesson of why sometimes high school romances can leave a lasting impression.

In this real story recreated using a miniature set of the Daintree Rainforest and toy cars, the storyteller soon discovers why good help is hard to find. Taking a group of high-level Japanese film producers on a location scout of the rainforest, the trip goes downhill fast when the hired help does the unthinkable.

Told in the style of a serious interview documentary piece where comedian Scott Brennan plays all characters; mother, father, and the 10-year old son.

What could go wrong winning your ex back? Getting back together is tough, and in this real story, the storyteller organizes a date night that he thinks will win her over. Veronica and Lewis soon discover that in this story, it pays to do your research on a date venue first. As the date descends into hell for the ex-girlfriend, the storyteller realizes they can't escape and his plan to win his ex back becomes a night they would rather forget. Reinterpreted using performance poetry over stylistic animation, the lesson is to always check the meat-quota for any event when taking a vegan, and that veganism is a fast-growing choice in Australia.

What could go wrong pooing at a party? Quite a few Australians suffer from toilet anxiety, and Veronica and Lewis discover that this story is the stuff of nightmares for these people. When Miles needs to 'drop some off' at a party he's attending, he convinces the people in the bathroom line to let him go first. But soon after he's finished his business, he finds there's no water and the toilet won't flush. Rather than leaving a surprise for the next person, he accidentally does something that the other party guests will never forget -giving a new meaning to 'clearing the dance floor'. Reimagined by a group of children who have never read the story before, and then who have to act parts of it out.

What could go wrong at an animal park? Aussies get themselves into all sorts of trouble when they travel. But when it involves animals, there's a sliding scale of how bad things can get. Although bad, this story is a lot worse than Lewis' experience with spitting alpacas and Veronica's Thailand fish. In this real story, two Aussies visit an animal park in South Africa where they should have known better and avoided, and while visiting the lion enclosure, have an unforgettable and dangerous encounter with a male lion -an experience that is definitely not advertised in the brochure. Recreated using paper mache puppets and stop motion animation.

But while Americans embrace the use and fun of an audience plant, the Australian audience turned on him and his job quickly descended into a weird sort of chaos and secrecy. This real story is reimagined using a satire of common TV current affairs type reporting, where the story is re-enacted in dramatic and over the top ways.

Veronica and Lewis discover a real story of a 21st that has a mix up in the kitchen, which leads to a party that quickly goes off the rails when 'special' homemade chocolates spiked with something extra are accidentally handed out to all the guests -and the people responsible for making the chocolates, face the choice of whether to tell the guests or let them ride out the high. Reimagined using home video style footage, the story is recreated over the course of the whole day.

But when the older daughter becomes lost while chasing their runaway air mattress, she must find her way back while also becoming upset that her mother isn't looking for her. But in this story, we learn that not everyone remembers the details in the same way, as the mother then tells her side. The story, and the differences, are recreated in a folk song as mother and daughter bicker over what really happened.

What could go wrong with a prank? Australians are known for pranks, and as radio hosts, Veronica and Lewis have their fair share of experience in this area. In this real story, a foul-mouthed electrician is removed from the church because of his colourful use of language. But instead of walking away, this electrician pulls a revenge prank on the priest responsible for his dismissal, which goes much further than he intended. Retold in the style of the UK series 'FoneJacker', and using constructed images made from multiple photos, a fictional religious confessions TV program receives a call from the electrician, which is the real voice of the original storyteller.
