The Joker (of Batman fame) and his crew of evil masterminds launch an all out assault on Nintendo Island, home of Luigi Mario and Mario Mario, in the pursuit of absolute takeover. After Mario is captured by the evil clown, Luigi prepares his own team to take back the island and destroy the Vile of Terror once and for all.
