While Stef tries to introduce a programme about the intricacies of the human brain, Brian becomes increasingly fascinated by a large lever on the desk in front of him. Unable to resist the temptation, he pulls it.
Stef has had enough of his colleagues constant mockery and storms out. While he is gone, Dan and Brian start to make fun of his theatrical temperament. Dan produces a remarkably Stef-like glove puppet and starts to do imitations of him.
Stef introduces a programme about pets, and Brian rushes off excitedly. He returns with a box containing his stick insect, Kirsty, but Dan crushingly points out that it is in fact just a stick.
Stef announces that they are opening up the phone lines to viewers, and Brian rushes off to man the switchboard. However, the first caller is a crossed line, after which Brian makes a number of hoax calls himself.
Stef introduces a programme about the exciting world of sound. He pushes a large sound effects button in front of him, but Brian fails to identify any of the noises correctly.
