Seven children from different parts of Norway tells us how their everyday lives got changed during spring 2020, because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Children from ages 7-17 tell their stories of what it is like to be homeless. They describe living in a shelter; moving from familiar places and what it is like to be forced to frequently change schools. They talk about their dreams and their own plans for success despite the odds that they face.

After a swimming accident Ute, a 17 year old girl, has become another person: a person with intellectual disability. Ute is the younger sister of the directors best friend. The film shows how such a serious accident changes all relationships in a life: relationships between family members, sisters and friends and in the end the question is what makes a person an individual.

'From One Day To The Next' follows four elderly people through their everyday lives, observing how they cope with a gradual loss of autonomy. Even as they become increasingly dependent on outside help they insist on staying at home. But it seems inevitable that sooner or later they will have to move to a nursing home. In the meantime, their most important contacts to the outside world are the employees of the Visiting Nurse Service. But it's not always easy for the nurses to reconcile their human feelings of compassion with the professional, economic and bureaucratic demands of their job.

A bio and autobiographical documentary about legendary musician, 'Washboard' Leo Thomas. Made by his daughter, Bayou Bennett, the film tells the touching story of how her re-uniting with her father after many years of being apart helps him to heal from the loss of his best friend, his painful divorce as well the devastation of his native homeland of Mandeville, Louisiana due to Hurricane Katrina.
