Wheel of Fortune
A man from Guadalajara, Mexico swears that an American art dealer has stolen a valuable family heirloom, while the art dealer alleges that that the Mexican sold her over $5000 of worthless Japanese figurines as Mexican artifacts. Neither person will call the police or back off from their counter-claims. When the Mexican is found shot to death in the art dealer's shop, the police arrest the owner. The Brannigans are hire to sort out the claims and bring the murderer to justice.

After her brother, mother and fiancé die in construction accidents at a dam construction site, Kathy Lombard asks the Brannigans to investigate whether the death's were truly accidents or were caused by the malevolent dam. Over the objections her father, the owner of the construction company, and the construction foreman's objections, the detectives press on and nearly become the victim of an industrial "accident" themselves.
