Travelling all the way from Ontario, Canada, Shannon arrived in Hope in January 2012 to begin her 6 month volunteer cycle with Katimavik (a Canadian youth based volunteer program). She was unaware of the impact she would soon make on the residents and staff at the Thunderbird Motel. In the first episode of "Stories from the Thunderbird" we follow Shannon during her emotional last week of work.
