Among the list of training involved are as follows based on the 48 hours they spend in training, be aware that the whole 48 hours are just a preview of the one week the actual SEAL recruits participate and undertake.
PHASE 1: Tent Building OBJECTIVE: Team Bonding TEST: Implement Dive Buddy Concept TIME: 4 Hours
REST: 6 Hours
PHASE 2: Breakout OBJECTIVE: Shock & Awe Survival TEST: Breaking them both physically & mentally at 4*C temperature by getting them tired, hungry, wet and cold by keeping them on their toes and then a lot more PT. TIME: 8 Hours
PHASE 3: Surf Torture OBJECTIVE: Endurance In Extreme Conditions TEST: Breaking the body and mind by making them experience the cold and wet of the tidal surf at a temperature of 10*C as well as the added severe physical shock of PT then back in the water then more PT. TIME: 8 Hours
PHASE 4: Sugar Cookies OBJECTIVE: Punishment and Torture TEST: After being made cold and wet they have to roll down a sand dune and are physically, emotionally and mentally being pushed beyond their barriers, designed to really push them and find the ones not willing. TIME: 4 Hours
PHASE 5: Dump Boat OBJECTIVE: Physical Endurance and Leadership TEST: The two boat crews have to carry the boat to the water, paddle out and then flip the boat in the water and then work as a team to flip the boat upright and paddle back to the shore and run back to the instructors. TIME: 6 Hours
BREAK: 1 Hour
PHASE 6: Log PT OBJECTIVE: Individual Strength and Team Unity TEST: Rooting out the weaker candidates from the rest of the crews and developing a team bonding by coordinating themselves to all help each other and be reliant on each other. TIME: 8 Hours
FINAL PHASE: Race Against Time OBJECTIVE: Team Building & Team Bonding TEST: Leave no crew mate behind and participate in a mile and half race along the beach and beat the designated time of 18 mins and 30 seconds and all finish the race together. TIME: 3 Hours
