The Japanese government has decided that the enemy getting to close to Durandal, a powerful relic kept at the bottom of the Abyss. They want to move it to a secure location, but the Noise are sure to notice, meaning a high speed car chase.
As Hibiki is spending more and more time fighting the Noise, it means less time for her studies and her friends. Miku is feeling alone, but she makes a promise with Hibiki to go get some snacks after school. But Hibiki is called again.
Hibiki and Tsubasa work together to defeat Chris, who manages to escape. But now Miku has seen Hibiki fighting as a Symphogear wielder, and she's very upset that Hibiki kept this secret from her.
Miku is still upset that Hibiki didn't tell her about being a Symphogear wielder. She starts skipping school and binging on okonomiyaki, but she's caught outside during another attack from the Noise.
Chris is alone and scared, and cut herself off from anyone who can help her. She lives in an abandoned building, but she meets a new friend. Meanwhile, Tsubasa has recovered enough to keep fighting, so she and Hibiki go out to celebrate.
Chris finally joins Division 2, and she brings valuable information with her: the name of the project Finé is working on. But before they can get there to stop her, four massive flying Noise appear in the skies over Tokyo.
Hibiki goes out of control, and Tsubasa is defeated by Finé. Everything looks lost when Miku reactivates the power to the school, and the other students start singing the anthem over the speakers.
With their new unlimited power, the Symphogear wielders easily defeat Finé's legions of Noise. But Finé has a final plan: to absorb the Noise and become a giant laser shooting monster.
