Reverend Ralph Wall

Casey And Friends
In this 1989 episode, Christian teen Casey - along with his two friends Charlie and Casper - invite token female Cynthia to the park to celebrate the Lord's glory. Cynthia chokes on the body of Christ and Casey has to administer a rather sexual Heimlich maneuver to save her. Reverend Ralph Wall breaks the story to sing to the audience about God's accomplishments and the sins of rock music. Casper plays a singalong for his friends. Reverend Ralph Wall, as Cowboy Carl, joins the teens to talk about the time he met God, who apparently smells good and likes Cap'n Crunch cereal. Charlie outs himself.

Reverend Ralph Wall: On The Street
Reverend Ralph Wall with his sidekick Patrick Saint Jr. traverse around town interviewing pedestrians about their dedication to God. They first encounter a man who claims to be an atheist, who, unfazed, listens to Patrick and Reverend Ralph serenade him with songs of religion before Reverend Ralph Wall proclaims he is "healed". They then encounter a kilt-wearing Irish Catholic goth in the park who appears incredibly enthused by the Lord and celebrating religion. They engage in a choreographed dance with him. Reverend Ralph Wall, now on his own, encounters a frazzled sunglasses-wearing man in an alley who frantically contradicts himself as to his dedication to God.

Primetime With Jesus Christ
In 1987, Reverend Ralph Wall hosts a shoddy Public Access "Talk Show" out of his basement. He invites Christian professor Philoneus Bonner to come and talk about the ways God affects us all. Choppily cut in-between talk segments is Reverend Ralph Wall playing guitar and singing an impromptu song. Reverend Ralph then invites charity worker Phillmore Deancan onto the program for he and Philoneus Bonner to chastise for apparently supporting Satan by organizing "anti-God" charities for sinners. The two make Phillmore "disappear" and close the program.

Public Access Legends: Reverend Ralph Wall
In 1990, a program takes a look at Reverend Ralph Wall, a mainstay of Public Access programming who a year prior had his series "Casey And Friends" canceled. The program chronicles Reverend Ralph Wall as he walks the audience through his quest to regain his own spot on television with a new series. His first venture involves riding a bike with a broom to sweep the streets clean. When this fails, he amasses a collection of bottle caps by standing by traffic wearing handwritten signs. He then uses these bottle caps to spread awareness and (hopefully) raise money for his program as he gets people interested. Then he and Patrick Saint Jr. ride around with a bike carriage as Patrick plays music to entertain the townsfolk. When all of this fails, Reverend Ralph Wall decides to roll and crawl around the ground in public to get attention. We finally learn that Patrick Saint Jr. has been the only reason Reverend Ralph Wall ever gets anything done in television.

Godzooks! It's Reverend Ralph Wall (Pilot)
In late 1990 - over a year after "Casey And Friends" cancellation - Reverend Ralph Wall's new pilot is presented by producer Patrick Saint Jr. in hopes of being picked up for series. The show is an offbeat sitcom format detailing a story about a group of young adults who invite over a troubled youth who leads them down a bad path. Intercut are bizarre PSA's, commercials and musical numbers from Ralph Wall and his partner Ruth Scones detailing the dangers of drugs and the wonders of "Biblical Beets", Reverend Ralph's new homegrown product.
