Eddie, with a mix of curiosity and concern, inquired, "Are you the owner of this house?" The little boy affirmed with a simple, "Yes!" Andrei, looking around the desolate space, asked, "Where are your parents?" The boy's response was a silent refusal, his lips sealed on the matter.
Eddie pressed on, "Do you know where everybody is?" Instead of words, the boy offered only a cryptic smile. Eddie's frustration grew. "What's wrong? Why are you smiling like that? Where is everyone? Answer me!" The boy's reply was unsettling, "I just wanted to see how you'd react. You two are the only humans here."
Eddie's voice trembled, "Wait, what do you mean we're the only two humans?" Andrei's imagination ran wild, "Does that mean there are ghosts and monsters here?" Eddie, half-joking, half-serious, asked, "Or maybe you're a monster?" The boy's response was chilling, "Maybe I am. Why don't you find out?"
As Eddie and Andrei exchanged worried glances, the boy vanished from sight, only to reappear behind them in an instant. Eddie stammered, "How did you get there?!" Panic took over, and Andrei's scream pierced the air, "Run!" They bolted from the room, slamming the door shut behind them.
Their hearts raced as they descended the stairs, but the boy was relentless, appearing before them once more, tackling Eddie to the ground. "Run!" Eddie gasped, urging Andrei to flee. Andrei dashed back upstairs, seeking refuge in the room with Coco, barricading himself inside.
The boy's pursuit was unyielding; he thundered up the stairs and began to hammer on the door with a force that would soon splinter wood. Eventually, the door gave way, and he lunged at Andrei. Narrowly evading the boy's grasp, Andrei made his escape, sprinting out of the house. Eddie, already on his heels, shouted, "Run!" as they both disappeared into the night, leaving the haunting episode behind them.
