If life is a game and Maria is the lead character, no one would want to play this game. Who would be willing to feel like a loser, comforted by other losers? Maria, however, has no choice. She has to keep up her performance even without enthusiasm until the moment when the number of little coincidences brings her to the box of bananas. And it is not only bananas that she finds in that box. From that very moment, Maria's life has changed. From a boring documentary, it turns into a piece of drama with a dash of comedy and thriller.

Maria has no idea what to do with the cocaine found in the box of bananas, so she is seeking help. She turns to her childhood friend Arnold. If a life would be a game, this would be the silliest decision for the lead character to take. Arnold is an ingenious gamer, unsuited for the real life. He has always been dreaming that his life would become much more like his games. He lets Maria in the early morning hour into his apartment, not even suspecting that his dreams can become reality.

If Maria's life was a game, that no one wanted to play, now there are more players than ever. It appears that many people consider her decision very wise not to report about discovered cocaine. These people on the contrary want to make use of the product. While Maria is debating what to do about all of this, others have established a gang. Arnold and Maria come to the conclusion that they need assistance when their first try to sell the cocaine turns into a total fiasco.

Arnold has been a gamer for such a long time that considers himself a mega mind that is unbeatable. That type of mega mind is an absolute gold mine for any respectable gang. They have the cocaine and the plan to sell it. They have not sold though a single bit of it yet. Arnold steps forward, developing a plan of selling cocaine while little work is needed to be involved by themselves. Arnold's plan, however, would not be the genuine Arnolds's plan if it would not get everybody into big serious trouble.

A favorable foundation for conflicts is played out once a professional mobster gang encounters a series of failures. Maria wonders if keeping cocaine was the worst idea ever. During the low point of life, the ideas appear and those are followed by the success. Fortune smiles upon them finally. While Maria's team celebrates the success, they don't yet suspect the creeping danger.

The gang of Maria is swamped with money. Success. Entertainment. The man she was always dreaming about is a reality now just one touch away. If life is the game, it may seem that Maria is closing on her victory. In any path to victory, however, there is always a big boss to conquer. To win the game one needs to win the boss. One should be warned though that life is not a game. While Maria should be stepping towards the big bad boss herself, everything happens upside down. Boss is getting to the people Maria cares about the most.

Owners of the cocaine hunt Maria and her gang. Police have come across the trace of The Product, the substance that has become very popular among illegal drug users. Arnold concludes that it is not a game. He is not safe behind his screen. The decreasing bar is not triggering on the wound level. Wounds are actual excruciating painful experiences. Regardless of all the dangers, Maria feels she finally is full of life. She does not plan to stop.

If life is a game then now it hits everyone with the notion that life is definitely not a game. It can't be put aside for a moment. It can't be switched off. It can't be put on pause just to grab a sandwich from the fridge. Maria sees that the closest people to her are in life-threatening danger. She gets that she has started it all. She has to finish it.

Two gangs meet. Korean and Maria's. One gang is ready to fight for death. The part of the other gang does not even recognize they are in the gang. Part of them think it is a big joke and is being shot only to later post on social media to collect a gazillion likes. They don't suspect their leader Maria still naively believes in a peaceful outcome. She continues to believe until people start dying and it is clear that the game is over.

Maria blames herself for the tragic events. She wants to punish herself. She cursed the moment she opened the box of bananas in the warehouse. If Maria's life were a game, it would be a rather depressing piece. Until she receives an even more unexpected offer from a completely unexpected character. Maria doubts whether to accept this offer or not. The decision is helped by Arnold, who realizes that if Maria does not continue to go forward, then all the sacrifices of the past will have been in vain. Maria decides to keep moving, to fight, never to give up.
