Richard Lynn Bare is wanted for the murder of Sherry Lyllas Hart. Her body was found in January 1985. Her remains were discovered while an investigator was looking for a stolen safe almost a year later at the bottom of a jumping off place in Wilkes County. Richard Bare and his accomplice named Jeff Burgess were placed in the Wilkes County Detention Center in March 1985. Richard escaped and has been on the loose for 22 years.
