City lawyer Rachel Mortimer takes a job as coroner in rural Wales.

The action of the series takes place in Barczyn - a small district town that hides many secrets. Kaczorowski cheers the harmonious team every day in search of sensational news topics. He believes that they are at hand, you just need to look carefully. The title "Reporters ..." closely follows regional events, each time colliding with an emotional, human history. They learn local secrets, get into the middle of conflicts, discover what someone was trying to hide. They describe both serious topics such as the perpetrator's escape from the scene of the accident, persecution of Ukrainians or persecution in an orphanage, as well as smaller stories - illegal hen races, a conflict between neighbors or a donuts eating competition on time. Unfortunately, their work is complicated by Kaczorowski's former colleague, and now his greatest enemy - businessman Leszek Rembicki (Piotr Cyrwus), who will try to harm the portal.

The daughter of the Li family who had been missing for many years suddenly appears, and the sudden reunion causes conflict in the family. Everyone has many unspoken secret, unexpected things and truth coming out one after another.
