At the music school, Manyunya learns to play the violin, and Narine learns to play the piano. The acquaintance of these two girls happened under very funny circumstances. They were both singing in the choir when the bench under them broke and all the chorus girls collapsed to the ground. After this curious incident, their "fierce" friendship began. The first thing Manyunya wants to do is introduce Narine to her Ba, who is famous for her ferocious character throughout the neighborhood. And although the girl was very worried, the acquaintance went well. Gran turned out to be cute, and her cookies were incomparable.

Ba invited Narine's parents to meet in person.This is a great honor, because Rosa Iosifovna rarely lets anyone get close. Having made friends, the families decided to go on vacation to the lodge in the mountains. But the day before, Mikhail, Manyunya's dad, fell ill, and Ba remains to take care of him. The girls have insanely fun in nature, although Narine's mother assures that they are "not girls, but a disaster." But the real catastrophe happens when Manyunya falls in love, and with an adult married man Oleg.

A girl in love is unable to cope with emotions and is constantly rude to the object of her feelings. Manyunya is jealous of Oleg for his own wife and, watching him, trampled all the beds at his house. Aunt Sveta, with whom Oleg and his family are staying, is even complaining to Narine's mother about the obnoxious behavior of the girls. Manyunya decides to take the initiative and sends Oleg a gift. Soon she receives a letter with instructions where she can find a return gift.

If Oleg gave the girls two chocolates for a stone wrapped in burdock, then how will he thank them for a mountain of presents? But the handsome Muscovite considered it garbage and complained about the girls again. Narine's mother teaches that loved ones are given the most precious things. Manyunya takes it literally and hands Oleg an old expensive pendant that her Ba gave her at birth. However, his wife insults Manyunya. It's good that a jar of condensed milk can save you from a broken heart in childhood.

The girls are coming back from vacation, but the vacation continues. The city has its own entertainment, for example, you can go to a department store with Ba and have a row with a commodity expert. Somehow Ba asked her friends to help her. She processed sheep wool for several days and it only remained to sew blankets. However, while Ba was going for thread, the girls decided to play in the winter, which spoiled their grandmother's many days' work. They realized that they were going to be punished when they heard their grandmother's: "Lord, my God." A phrase that the Ba says only in extreme anger.

If Ba has a general cleaning day, then everything will be washed: from the roof to the basement, including Manyunya. The girl often escapes from this natural disaster to her friend Narine and her sister Karine - the thunderstorm of all the boys of the city. Somehow bored, the girls were looking at an album of antique sculpture, and it dawned on Manyunya how to make a hump on her nose. After all, she has been dreaming of a Roman profile for so long. The idea of hitting the nose with a door seems dangerous to Narine. But Manyunya has nothing to lose - after all, she broke the Czech ceiling lamp at home, which Ba had been hunting for in the department store for so long.

Narine and Karine have a general cleaning, which needs to be completed as soon as possible in order to catch the famous Sunday cakes of Ba. Mom informs the girls that they and Manyunya family will fly to the sea in Adler. The sisters want to discuss the good news under the pies, but they find out that Manyunya has been punished. A red-haired hooligan spoiled Ba's dough and tried to hide the traces of the crime in the toilet. Not wanting to stay in her room, Manyunya decides to escape - through the window, with the help of an umbrella that will take her to distant America.

They are finally in Adler. The families rented two rooms in the house of the hospitable Goga near the sea. Every day they go to the beach, where there are so many people and everyone is almost naked. The girls have new interesting entertainment and fun games. However, one day the rest was almost overshadowed by an unpleasant incident: trying to teach his wife to swim, Uncle Yura himself almost drowned. Fortunately, local rescuers helped him in time.

Ba strictly forbids Manyunya and Narine to play with the children of the junk dealer of Glory, but when did this stop the hooligans? Girls still go to visit them and pick up lice there. Independent secret attempts to withdraw them have not been successful, and therefore, after all, Ba will have to take drastic measures. The next day, Manyunya and Narine said goodbye to their beautiful hair - according to Ba, shaving bald was the only way to get rid of lice.

Ba's beauty recipes turn Narine and Manyunya into "Fantomas' doppelgangers". Although Rosa Iosifovna does not admit her mistakes, Narine is waiting for her parents with excitement: how will they react when they see their daughter without hair? A feast and homemade plum tincture quickly neutralize the conflict. However, no one expected that finding panama hats for girls would be a big problem, such a trifle turns out to be a shortage. Narine's mom and Ba take out their sewing machines.
