For the final programme in the series we joined Fred for the last part of his watery odyssey on the Northern Reaches of the "Lanky" - Lancaster Canal. From Tewitfield, journeying into the largely unexplored Northern Reaches, this stretch of water is un-navigable by narrow boat, so Fred joins Stephen Appleby from the Kendal Civic Society on his electric boat to navigate the final miles.
