Charley doesn't want to go to bed just yet, he wants to fly to the moon. So he blasts off in his rocket and meets a friendly alien who wants to play moon ball.
Charley attaches some strings to Midge and turns him into a puppet, but when Charley becomes a puppet himself he discovers it's not so nice having someone control everything you do.

Charley turns detective to find his missing sock but when the rest of his clothes go missing too, he realizes there must be a clothes thief on the loose.
Charley sets up a ski slope for Rivet, but Rivet keeps falling over. Charley heads out on to a snowy mountain to show Rivet how it's done but discovers skiing isn't that easy after all.
It's bedtime but Charley wants to fly his toy plane. He takes to the skies to deliver the post but falls asleep before making a special delivery to Midge.
Charley pretends that the floor is a sheer wall and that he is a mountain climber climbing up it. Adventurous Charley finds himself on a real mountain with his friend Midge stuck up the top. The only way to save Midge is to climb up to the top. It's Mountaineer Charley to the rescue!
Charley becomes king for a day and is able to grant any wish he wants but he soon finds out that having his friends around him is the best thing of all.
Charley sees a rainbow in the sky but when he feels sad, all the colours disappear. He discovers the only way to keep a rainbow looking beautiful is to be happy.
Charley looks after a baby bird in a nest but when the mother bird appears and tries to feed Charley a big fat juicy worm, he decides he would rather not be a bird after all.
Charley becomes a ring master in a circus and introduces his famous act - Nibblit the bouncing bunny, but when Nibblit bounces so high he disappears from the tent, Charley wonders if he will ever see his friend again.
When Charley is poorly he must stay in hospital. He enjoys everyone making a fuss of him but he can't wait to get better so he can go outside and play with his friends.
