The project: Still full of confidence despite all the set-backs, Kaylan sees a glimmer of hope when a company invites him to present his project. Meanwhile, Amanda discovers she's been betrayed by her boyfriend Christian.
The return: Ryan, Tina and Isaac have returned home after a long absence. Still worried about the uncertain future of her cousin Viola, Rolande makes her a somewhat indecent proposition. Meanwhile, Mr Kangah finds himself in a delicate position after funds have been embezzled from Isaac Malan's company.
The get-together: Isaac Malan organises a weekend get-together to catch up with his gang of childhood friends. Still secretly in love with Viola, he asks Gina to help him with his plan to discretely seduce her.
Traitors: Isaac Malan discovers that he's been betrayed by two of his employees, Guy and Serge Kangah and demands they be executed. Meanwhile, Kaylan sees all his hopes reduced to nothing with Serge Kangah's death. He also suspects Viola of having an affair with Isaac.
Valuable help: Corrupted by Gina, the owner of Viola and Kaylan Durand's apartment threatens to evict them. Isaac makes the most of their financial difficulties to make Viola an indecent proposition
Sorrow: Kaylan and Ryan drown their sorrows in alcohol. Meanwhile, Isaac and Gina try a range of different strategies to break-up the Durand's marriage.
Manipulation: Isaac's company finally agrees to finance Kaylan's project, before suddenly changing its mind again. Meanwhile, Chris sets out to win Tina's heart, which is not at all to Isaac's liking.
Blackmail: With the help of his lawyer, Isaac finally manages to get Iris released from prison in Angola. Jeff, the Angolan lieutenant, asks Superintendent Bouba for his help in finding out who killed his sister. Meanwhile, Viola ends up by giving in to Isaac's blackmail.
The proposition: Viola and Isaac head to Ghana to spend a weekend together. Chris discovers Kaylan's project and orders his immediate execution. Lieutenant Jeff's investigation leads all the way to Isaac, but the latter seems to be protected.
Suspicions: Kaylan finally discovers the identity of the CEO during a board meeting at which all the members are present. In town, a gang has carried out a series of kidnappings of young girls. Lieutenant Jeff suspects Superintendent Bouba of having been bought by Isaac.
Celebrations: Joshua and the members of his family are invited by Amanda's family to celebrate their marriage contract. Kaylan's company organises an official screening for the presentation of his start-up.
Virus: Isaac is furious when he discovers that Viola had deceived him during their weekend in Ghana. He decides to take his revenge by sabotaging Kaylan's presentation for his startup. Meanwhile, Lieutenant Jeff is increasingly convinced that Isaac is at the heart of all the scandals.
The final attack: Furious and thirsting for revenge, Isaac reveals to Kaylan the secret that connects him to Viola. The news comes as such a shock that Kaylan collapses and is rushed to hospital.
