When Gruzzlebeard steals the toy machine in an attempt to stop toy production and it accidentally gets smashed. Though it is salvageable, the pearl that powers it, breaks on exposure to sunlight. Santa, Balbo, Guilfi and Thoren head to the cave where they first found the pearl to find another. However, they are opposed by a giant Abominable Snowman and a monster bat. With luck and cunning, they are able to find the pearl and get it back to a repaired toy machine.
