In the course of shooting one of his videos Scott's .50 caliber rifle exploded leaving him a in world of hurt. He was shooting holes in a fire hydrant with old armor piercing incendiary round. One turned out to be hot. Several pieces of the gun impacted or entered his body. In addition to his injuries Scott describes his and his dad's efforts to keep him alive and the emergency medical care he received.
