Upon Uthool transforming Batman into a bat monster, Superman ends up fighting Uthool in order to get him out of Batman.

Afterwards, Black Adam breaks free from his Earthly imprisonment to fight the heroes as Batman arrives with Shazam as the Justice League fights Black Adam and the remaining Djinn.

As this is happening, Batman and Big Barda head to Darkseid's fortress on Apokolips to learn where Superman has been transported.
