I Got the Music Shot Compare
A shot for shot comparison of the rehearsals to the final edit for the musical number "I Got the Music". There are noticeable differences between the two, notably that Madison Reyes is often replaced for the role of Julie by a dance double. This is because Madison was either not present on set or shooting another scene at the time, which is likely due to the fact that she is a minor and is only allowed to work so many hours a week.

I Got the Music Rehearsal
A rehearsal of the dance break that is supposed to go down when Flynn comes in rapping on "I Got the Music". The choreography is being build on professional dancers with Victoria Caro taking on the part of Flynn, and so there is no cast involved yet in this stage of the process.

Other Side of Hollywood Dance Rehearsal
A rehearsal for the dance during "Other Side of Hollywood" with professional dancers and stand-ins for the actors. There's three different takes and every take has some small differences in choreography even though it's all to the same part of the song.

Wow Shot Compare
A shot by shot comparison between the rehearsal and final edit for Dirty Candy's performance of "Wow". The biggest difference is that during the rehearsal there are dance moves not seen before in the final edit, because they get cut off by dialogue.

Shot Compare of
A shot by shot comparison for the dance performance during "All Eyes on Me" with a focus on Alex. In the rehearsal clip, the original Dirty Candy cast is not there except for Victoria Caro, although she now takes on the lead part of Carrie instead of Kayla. This rehearsal is clearly meant for Owen Joyner to practise coming in on the dance as Alex.

Dirty Candy
A rehearsal for Dirty Candy's performance of "All Eyes on Me". The rehearsal looks pretty much identical to the final product in the show, with the most obvious difference being that the actors are not in costume, but instead their own clothes and that there are no special effects.

Charlie Gillespie and Jeremy Shada Singing HSM & Backstreet Boys
Charlie Gillespie is busking for fun with his acoustic guitar at the beach boulevard during some off-time from filming there. He eventually asks if anyone has any requests which leads to "I Want It That Way" by The Backstreet Boys. When Kenny Ortega comes around, Charlie asks Jeremy Shada to join him in his street performance to pay homage to Kenny with the iconic High School Musical duet "Breaking Free". Charlie is kind of messing up the lyrics though, so Kenny jokingly walks away, but he does leave him a dollar. Charlie cracks a few jokes about it and they all end up laughing.

Julie Screams Meeting the Phantoms!
First, Kenny Ortega is giving Madison Reyes directions on how she can best 'scream' when seeing the phantoms for the first time in the pilot episode. Then, they start shooting and it shows how the scene is filmed very differently from how it is later edited on screen.

Owen Joyner 1st Time Eating Sushi
Kenny Ortega got Owen Joyner to eat sushi for the very first time in his life. It is obvious Owen is not the biggest fan, but he tries to blame it on the texture. According to Owen the sushi is "mushy", but Kenny denies that this is the case.

I Got the Music Dance Break Finale Rehearsal
A rehearsal for the big dance number at the finale of "I Got the Music". This is one of the very last rehearsals prior to filming and it is basically just meant to test out the location. Therefore, there is no cast present but instead only professional dancers.

Charlie Gillespie Dance Rehearsal: Perfect Harmony
Charlie Gillespie is practising the dance for "Perfect Harmony" with his rehearsal partner Louise Hradsky. The duet is going really well already, but when the part comes where Charlie has to do the difficult solo tricks and dance moves on the floor, he asks for some extra clarification. The professional dancers present all start helping him out.

Shot Compare
A shot by shot comparison between the rehearsal and final edit for the "Edge of Great" performance. The biggest difference is that during the rehearsal we see Madison Reyes (Julie) pretty much immediately going up to Charlie Gillespie (Luke) when singing together, while in the final edit she is supposed to ignore him at first.

Julie Sings
A rehearsal for the first part of the "Edge of Great" performance. This rehearsal was in the earlier stages of putting the performance together, because the crew on the sidelines is still telling the cast, and in particular Madison Reyes, basic things such as where to stand and who to look at.

Perfect Harmony 1st Rehearsal with Juke
Charlie Gillespie and Madison Reyes rehearse their dance duet during "Perfect Harmony" for the very first time together. It's going rather well already, but they're also just having fun with it. Luckily, they seem very comfortable with each other and thus the dance never misses chemistry.

Tori Caro, Charlie Gillespie
Kenny Ortega and Paul Becker are working on the staging for the performance of "Edge of Great" with Charlie Gillespie (Luke), Victoria Caro (stand-in for Julie), Jeremy Shada (Reggie), and Louise Hradsky (stand-in for Alex). They're focusing on the staging for Luke and Julie in particular, since that is the most important part.

First Time the Band Heard
The band is hearing the demo for "Stand Tall" for the very first time. Kenny Ortega is asking them to just vibe out and jam to the song, so they can experiment with the staging for the performance. They come to the conclusion that the demo is missing some sort of climax, and so they decide they'll have to work on the musical and vocal arrangements a bit more.

Bright Rehearsal
Madison Reyes, Charlie Gillespie, Owen Joyner, and Jeremy Shada are rehearsing "Bright" while performing in front of a small crowd of people in the cast and crew. They rehearse with great stage presence and are really embodying their inner Julie, Luke, Alex and Reggie.

Shot Compare
A shot by shot comparison between the rehearsal and final edit for the performance of "Now or Never". The biggest difference between the two is the camera angle, since the rehearsal shot is much further away and without any zoom-ins, which the final edit has a lot of. Aside from that, the two shots are pretty much identical with the band already in costume and playing on set during the rehearsal.

Great Rehearsal
A rehearsal for the performance during "Edge of Great" at which a backing track is playing, but the band is audibly singing over it. Charlie Gillespie and Jeremy Shada are rehearsing in their own clothes, but Madison Reyes is already in Julie's outfit.

Finally Free Shoot UnEdited
A behind the scenes look during filming of the "Finally Free" performance. The only thing visible are the camera monitors, and the cameras focus entirely on Madison Reyes (Julie) and Charlie Gillespie (Luke), who are performing their hearts out.

Halloween Jam UnEdited
The cast and crew are having a Halloween party on set, so everyone came dressed up (for example: Owen Joyner came as a big baby, Charlie Gillespie as a killer clown and Madison Reyes as the devil). Everyone is having fun, and eventually Charlie Gillespie and Savannah Lee May start doing the Cupid Shuffle dance, which leads to everyone at the party joining in as if it's some sort of flashmob.

Acapella Duet Juke
Charlie Gillespie and Madison Reyes are sitting behind the grand piano together at the "Edge of Great" set with not really any other cast and crew around. The two of them are just kind of messing around, singing "Stand Tall" a capella in a funny manner (while still sounding good). Every time when one of them switches the note or tone they're singing in, the other very quickly follows. They're mostly just having fun with it, hanging out together.
