Unaware that Matteo has read her virtual declaration of love, Laura has taken a few days of vacation just for herself, away from the police station and her children, and has gone to the spa, in a small town near Turin. As chance would have it, a crime is committed in the spa hotel where she has just arrived. Laura's plan for a few days of relaxation falls through. Iacopo asks her to investigate the murder and sends Matteo to help her with the investigation.

In the meantime, Lidia (Eleonora Sergio), the woman with whom Iacopo (Gianmarco Tognazzi) betrayed Laura, tries to get closer to him, who instead wants to win back his wife, while Matteo pretends to be engaged to Laura to escape from an ex who is a bit too intrusive. Allegra, Laura's young daughter, meanwhile, prepares a surprise to try to reunite her father and mother.
