On their journey to the jungle, Jungo and Rita are being chased by Smutz and Blitz, a journalist and a photographer. They reach the South-European coast by train and with their pursuers close upon their heels, they're struggling through a number of obstacles to get to the beach. Eventually, after a lot of turmoil and commotion, our friends end up racing a jet-ski at a breakneck speed and crash into a large cruise-ship. The pursuers have lost track of Jungo and Rita, who manage to hide in a lifeboat on deck.

While hiding on the cruise-ship, finding something to eat without being discovered is the biggest problem. On board we also find a gangster mama and her two sons, who are planning to kidnap the baby of the wealthy Croesus- couple. Sneaking around the ship with different purposes, our friends' and the gangsters' paths cross a number of times and Jungo and Rita ruin the kidnappers' plan, more or less by coincidence. And by accident, they end up in the lifeboat with Baby Croesus, drifting on the dark ocean...

The lifeboat with Jungo, Rita and Baby is washed up on an African shore. Rita and Baby end up with an African family, where the gangsters - who have tracked them down - again fail in an attempt to get hold of Baby. Baby's eccentric billionaire grandpa fetches Baby in his heli-jet, and takes Rita, too. Jungo follows, riding on one of the heli-jet's feet. On the Croesus' estate, Rita's being kept as Baby's pet and once again the gangsters show up. This time, Jungo stops them from getting away with the kidnapping. The billionaire locks him up as a pet-hero with Rita in Baby's luxurious nursery...

Jungo has gotten fat, sick and tired of the luxurious life as the billionaire's pet, and Rita misses her freedom. The gangsters are watching the estate and see the animals' failed attempts to get away. They also witness the arrival of a Latin American General, who wants to buy Jungo as a symbol for his country. So the gangsters see to it that our friends manage to get out, catch them, and sell them to the General who takes them to Junglandia - the land where Jungo's own jungle is. Smutz and Blitz show up to get their sensational photo but Jungo and Rita manage to escape, and they make it to the edge of the jungle...

Jungo's back where he's born, meets his old friends, the monkeys Zik and Zak, but Rita doesn't feel welcome. The place is full of unknown dangers too, but Jungo tries to make her believe that "The Spirit of the Jungle" makes sure that most animals help each other to survive. A newcomer, the jaguar Sharpclaws, is a perilous disturber of peace. Jungo develops his "Spirit of the Jungle"-idea, and gathers all his friends to carry out a sly, masterly trick that chases Sharpclaws away, convinced about the danger of "The Spirit". Rita's beginning to feel she's among friends...

Two fortune hunters in a motorboat show up in the jungle. They are after gold, but they also know that the General is offering a reward for the rare jungle-animal. The bad guys catch a friendly Indian boy to make him show them where to find gold. Hugo and his friends want to save the boy. They sneak into the bad guys' camp at night and free him. But thoughtless Zik and Zak wake the bad guys up, they spot Jungo and set a trap to catch him. Using the bad guys' own jam, Jungo entices army ants to enter the tent - the crooks run out and into their boat. The Indian boy perforates it with arrows, a giant otter makes her alligator impersonation, and the bad guys race off...

A flood sends Rita and Jungo down the river on a log. They're spotted by the crooks from Ep.6, but get away on a dinghy tied to a riverboat. When the boat docks, Jungo gets caught by one of the crooks who calls the General. Rita manages to free Jungo with help from his old friends, two ship-rats who also show them the way to a freighter where another friend, Meatball Charlie, is working as a cook. The General's men almost catch Jungo, but he and Rita escape on Charlie's ship. Out at sea, the mean captain finds Rita and takes her away - which makes Charlie go on "Meatball Strike". When the crew don't get their meatballs, they go on strike, too! Charlie gets Rita back, but leaves the ship with his friends in a European port...

Our friends are living peacefully on the island. Occasionally, Rita's tired of Jungo's cocky manner, but his tricks impress her. At first, she doesn't believe him when he says he learned all the tricks by himself, but then he tells her his story. He was found as a baby in the jungle by some animals who didn't think much of him at first. But a number of encounters - with both friendly and dangerous animals - taught him to know his own abilities and limitations, and made him the Master of Tricks. His antagonists learned to respect him and he finally made friends with the monkeys Zik and Zak, who gave Jungo his name.

For a living, Meatball Charlie's selling meatballs from a cart, with Jungo and Rita as entertainers. But without the right permits, he has to leave that trade and decides to head for home. On the road, a circus Ringmaster discovers Jungo's and Rita's juggling talents and hires the trio for his show. Being in the audience, Smutz and Blitz discover Jungo and call the General. It doesn't take him long to get to Europe in his jet, and when escaping him, Rita and Jungo have to part from Charlie. They take flight in a ruined building, where they get help from an Elf with magical talents. They join him on his journey to the north, to the King Elf's castle...

Riding under a truck, the three travelers reach a northern landscape. Jungo makes friends with a beaver family when he saves the beaver kids from a lynx. When Rita's trapped by the lynx, the beavers help Jungo to save her. Jungo and Rita, with the Elf on her back, continue to the north. In a marsh, they run into a bear who's acting at the shooting of a commercial. Jungo persuades the Movie Bear to join them as a free animal - this way, our friends get a great means of transportation. Jungo also tries to persuade the reluctant Elf to teach him how to become invisible...

In the mountains, the bear misses the easy life as a movie-star. Rita and Jungo want to find food to cheer him up, but get caught by trolls. Cocky Jungo teases the trolls by claiming he's "the master of tricks". The trolls take Rita as hostage to force him to prove his statement: He will make trespassing hunters leave the trolls' land. Jungo's plan is to let the bear scare them away, but first he has to take their gun which scares the poor bear stiff. At last, the hunters get scared into their tent. The trolls grab it as a sack and throw it down a slope to a Ranger's cabin - where the hunters get arrested for poaching.

Our three friends are on their own in the wilderness. Coincidentally, Smutz and Blitz are "hunting" trolls for an article, but see Jungo instead. They phone the General, who immediately takes off. Jungo, Rita and the Elf continue their walk in the cold. Jungo has to cope with both an eagle and a wolverine. By the edge of the dark ocean, the General's heli-jet shows up and chases them, but it can't land. Our friends end up on an ice floe, drifting out to an island where they see reindeer, and a polar bear that's being shot with an anesthetic dart - there are scientists on the island. The Elf hobbles on through the snow, but Rita and Jungo are exhausted. Before they pass out, they think they see a man dressed in red on a sleigh...

The scientists find Jungo and Rita on the island and take them back to civilization. One of them, Sturmdrang, knows that Jungo's from the jungle, the other two think he's arctic. Meatball Charlie, who's working in his sister's restaurant, sees his friends on TV. While Jungo's being exposed to different experiments, the General comes to town. He talks Sturmdrang into getting him Jungo, but it turns out to be Charlie that manages to free his friends. He sells his secret meatball-recipe to his sister and buys a small island, where they can live in peace. Christmas Eve, the Elf shows up on the island as Santa's helper! That job is harder then he expected, so he decides to stay on the island.

The Mayor's secret. Joy goes to find out what Mayor Hayne is hiding in his house. An old acquaintance crashes in as surprise and shocks everyone. The rioting Nadirs approach Mayor's house, but does the Mayor give them mercy? Part 15/18. The Company Man. Who is the supernatural man behind the influential but unknown corporation, and how does this all relate to the Mayor? And will Joy finally find out what happened to Hope? Part 16/18. More lies. Joy finally understands what this is all about. The Company Man comes to destroy the evidence and is about to destroy the entire building. Joy releases her anger at the Aliah who is trying to convince Joy of the danger. Part 17/18. Sacrifice. The menacing Company Man wants the evidence, even if forcibly, but Joy no longer intends to sacrifice others but to sacrifice herself again. Joy brings the evidence and confronts the most dangerous supernatural killer, The Company Man. Is Joy going to make it?! Part 18/18. Happy Ending? The Nadir riots are calming down and the dust has settled. Joy wants to make it clear to the Aliah how she mistreated other with the Star Program, but does the Aliah hear anything anymore?
