Death on the Coq
A hardy crew of heavy towers working day and night on the most unforgiving highway in the world, the Coq, to battle some of the most dangerous and unpredictable situations. Through nasty weather conditions, tangled wrecks, and unforeseen problems, the crew is pushed to their limits to maintain one goal: to keep traffic moving. With majority of traffic semi-trucks, the job proves one of the most difficult and deadly in the world. Can they do it?

Jamie flies to Chatanooga to pickup a truck with a rotating boom that he's impatiently waiting for. The crew deals with two tough to flip turnovers loaded with lumber and wine.

It's Stormy Everywhere
Jamie brings one of his young boys along on an "easy" job only to see three more trucks crash during the job. A unknown load in a wrecked truck leads to an embarrassing debut for the rotator. Jamie has trouble with son Brandon's work ethic and new earrings.

Roughing Up the Rookie
Jamie's crew struggles with undersized equipment while overhead power lines threaten. A new driver learns the ropes though a mishap or two and turns up missing when the weather turns. After a long shift Jamie gives his team a break then is promptly faced with a two semi wreck on his own.

Even tow crews and snowplows can't work when avalanches start. But once the avalanche risk is averted Jamie risks his precious rotator to lift a semi up a cliff without damaging it.

Seems when it's not snow it's rock slides and them boulders hurt. But rock or snow make no difference to the highway department. They still want the roads reopen right quick.

Spring mean a drop in business and Jamie is worried about costs and unpaid bills. Layoffs seem inevitable. On the mountain a mail truck means special challenges which has Adam linking about quitting.

HIGHWAY THRU HELL: AFTER THE CRASH catches up with the heavy rescue crew as they reflect over the highs and lows on the mountain last winter. In between highlight clips, showing some of the best and worst times they had the over the season's eight gripping episodes, the guys talk about their toughest wrecks, worst injuries, stormiest weather, tense moments on the team, and why they stick it out despite it all. Jamie talks about being prepared for anything and how his amazing fleet of heavy rescue trucks helps him tackle it all. Ken, the new guy from the city, stops in for a beer and recounts his struggles adjusting to life on the mountain. Brandon, Jamie's 17-year-old stepson and last winter's rookie, takes some heat for his work ethic but isn't afraid to throw it back. As things are heating up, an unexpected visit from arch-rival Al Quiring brings out some serious barbs from Adam. Then Mark turns the tough questions on Kevin, Adam, and the boss himself, Jamie. It all ends with a surprise when Mark invites the guys to see the Coquihalla, and the majestic mountains surrounding it, from an angle they've never experienced: from­ mid-air in a helicopter.

Family Business
A car lift leads to no end of frustration. Jamie questions his son Brandon's priorities but Dad is impressed when he get's a taste of Brandon's world.
