Special investigators Varta Naumova and Max Shumov are assigned to a child abduction case. The measures they take backfire, resulting in a casualty. The kidnapper manages to escape with the girl.
Varta and Max follow a lead that takes them to a cult-like church. A possible suspect is identified. Later, a video with the missing girl holding a sign with a mysterious set of numbers is released online.
Varta thinks she may know what the strange numbers held by the children mean. A third kidnapping is attempted, leading to a new suspect. Max looks closer into Bondar's death.
