When Darius is arrested for arson, his daughter and grandchildren delay their holiday to visit him. To their surprise they find Grandpa's campsite in a terrible mess, with toilets overflowing and no power.
Everyone is worried about Grandpa who seems very confused. Only Lotte believes his conspiracy theory and she promises to find out who sabotaged the campsite. Tim and Floor are surprised by the changes when they visit a neighboring farm.
Lotte finds the reason for the blocked toilets and cut power, but her mother isn't convinced that the discoveries prove anything. Floor is startled when a bird of prey steals one of the pancakes she and Tim were making.
Floor is rescued by a mysterious figure. Lotte visits Gentopia with her mother and meets the director, Cleo King. Tim panics when his phone is stolen and chases after the thief.
Lotte is upset that her mother has canceled all reservations at the campsite, and tries again to convince her that it's sabotage. Tim catches the thief, but is unable to get any answers from him before he escapes once more.
Tim tries to report his stolen phone to the police but they do not seem interested. Later, at the pool, he sees a photo of the thief and sets about trying to find out who he is and where he lives.
Tim and Floor check the membership records at the pool to find out where Silvijn lives. Lotte visits Kiet's farm and meets Bram. Meanwhile, Silvijn and the kids make plans to retrieve Wende's favorite toy from their house.
Lotte and her mother find that Cleo King has dropped the charges and Grandpa is allowed to return home. Tim and Floor break into Silvijn's house, looking for Tim's phone, but are startled when Silvijn and Wende also arrive there.
Grandpa returns home but is distressed to find the campsite closed down and in such a state. He starts to explain why he believes that Gentopia are responsible, but Julia will not listen.
Lucas Fox tries to persuade Julia to check Grandpa in to a nursing home. Rekel is furious when she discovers that Silvijn and Wende have returned to their house, fearing that they will be caught and sent into foster care.
Mynne and Feya discover that their water collection system has been damaged and fear that there may be other people in the forest. Grandpa reluctantly agrees to visit the nursing home, but is surprised when they insist he stays.
Mynne and Feya find a very strange animal in the forest and become worried when they see two men hunting it. Lotte tries to convince Tim that the campsite is being deliberately sabotaged.
Tim returns to the pool, hoping to find someone who can tell him more about Silvijn. Meanwhile, Lotte visits Silvijn's house, suspecting that he may be connected to the campsite sabotage.
After being injured, Lotte is helped by Feya and Wende, but Rekel is not so happy about meeting her. Tim is surprised to be told that Silvijn lives in Australia, and is worried when their dog returns without Lotte.
Floor visits Grandpa and tells him what she overheard at Gentopia. Lotte tries to find out more about her captors, but Rekel isn't keen to allow her to talk to the others.
Lotte and Silvijn exchange stories and agree to help one another, but first they must get Lotte out of the cabin without Rekel seeing them. Tim returns to the Eyck house to start his search for Lotte.
Lotte helps Silvijn to search for his father, but they have no luck. Rekel learns that her siblings have deceived her, and is surprised to see Lotte returning with food for them all. Meanwhile Tim continues to search for his sister.
Lotte realizes that her brother can find them by tracking his phone, just as Tim persuades a policeman to help him search for Lotte in the forest. Bram is suspicious when Kiet won't allow him to investigate a dead mouse.
Tim tracks his phone and finds Lotte, but although he is suspicious, she manages to stop him from finding Silvijn and his family. Meanwhile, Floor overhears Cleo talking to investors in Kiet's fields.
Tim follows Lotte when she goes to visit Silvijn, much to Rekel's dismay. Floor is concerned about her sick dog, while Bram tries to explain to Cleo that he believes the mouse died from poison in the fields.
Rekel is shocked when she hears that their father isn't in America after all and sets out with Tim to find proof. Lotte returns home to check on Floor and the sick dog. Wende and Mynne offer to help the animal.
Wende and Mynne set to work preparing herbs to help the dog, much to Floor's delight. Kiet tries to persuade Bram to stay in his lab and away from the fields. Tim and Rekel find that they're not alone in the forest.
Tim and Rekel are worried about the hunters in the forest. Lotte visits her grandfather and is shocked to see how drowsy and lifeless he has become, making her suspicious of the doctor.
Rekel and Silvijn cannot agree on what to do next: Silvijn wants to look for their father, but Rekel prefers to stay hidden where they are safe. Cleo continues trying to stop Bram from investigating the poison in the fields.
Tim and Lotte visit Rekel at night to avoid being seen by the hunters, while Floor ensures that their mother doesn't notice that they're missing. Cleo pressures Welmoed into working for her to recreate the chemicals she needs.
The children all agree to work together and start making plans to find out what is going on. Meanwhile they are upset to learn that the trees are being felled illegally in the forest.
Bram tells Cleo his latest concerns about the poison and suggests that she should fire Kiet. Tim pretends to be the son of a councilor to get an interview at Gentopia. Meanwhile Silvijn, Feya and Mynne try to stop the tree-cutting.
Tim tries to persuade Cleo to tell him something about Welmoed, but she avoids the subject. Feya and Mynne rescue some baby hedgehogs from the fallen trees. Lotte and Floor visit Grandpa, but his condition is worsening.
Welmoed tries to persuade Cleo how dangerous the pesticides are, but she will not listen. Silvijn is worried that Rama has not been seen recently. Lotte tries to find out if Grandpa knows anything about what's going on.
Welmoed sends a message to his children with Rama, but when Silvijn tries to follow the bird to find his father, he is stopped by the hunters in the forest. Tim interviews Bram, hoping to find out more.
Silvijn suggests abducting Bram to force him to tell them what he knows. Lotte and her mother visit Dr Mosselman to discuss Grandpa's condition, but Lotte is far from convinced by her answers.
Lotte is shocked to find Lukas Vos at the clinic talking to Dr Mosselman about Grandpa's pills. Tim's attempt to capture Bram fails miserably, but Mynne and Floor have a better plan.
The children question Bram about Welmoed, but he claims to know nothing. Lotte and Wende discover that the pills Grandpa is taking are causing his confusion and drowsiness.
Rekel decides to trust Bram and releases him, much to Silvijn's dismay. Lotte tries again to persuade her mother that Grandpa is being mistreated and that Lukas Vos is behind it, but Julia won't listen.
Lotte and her mother visit Lukas Vos, who denies all of Lotte's claims. Bram discovers where Welmoed is being held and promises to help him. Cleo learns that the children are hiding in the forest and sends her team to find them.
Rekel and the others flee from their forest camp as Cleo's team closes in on them. Floor tries to persuade Grandpa to resist selling the campsite, and suggests that he should stop taking the pills, so he can focus.
Lotte tries to help Grandpa escape from the clinic, but they are soon caught. Rekel and the others hide in the forest, but are unable to tell Tim and Lotte where they are. A confused Grandpa is persuaded to sell the campsite to Lucas Vos.
Kiet becomes increasingly ill. Tim and Lotte's father arrives unexpectedly and wonders if the sale of the campsite was rushed too much. Bram explains that he's found Welmoed, but cannot free him as Cleo would have him arrested.
Rekel no longer trusts Tim and takes the others to hide in Kiet's barn. Welmoed tells Bram that Rama will lead him to the children, but Bram cannot keep up.
Bram discovers Silvijn, Feya and Wende in Kiet's barn and tries to help them avoid being caught by Cleo. Grandpa is suddenly to be released from the clinic and allowed home.
When Rekel learns that her brother and sisters have been captured by Cleo, she turns to Tim for help. Meanwhile, Grandpa has stopped taking the pills and is much more alert as he leaves the clinic.
Tim, Lotte, Floor and Grandpa meet Rekel and Mynne in Grandpa's old barn and start to make preparations to rescue the others. Julia is horrified to discover that she's been wrong all along as she finally realizes the truth.
Julia confronts Lukas Vos, but he dismisses her accusations and claims she has no proof. Tim, Rekel and the others make plans to break into Gentopia, while Cleo prepares for her big announcement.
Julia and Marc join the others and decide that they must find Kiet as living proof of what's happening. Feya escapes from her cell and hides in the corridors of Gentopia.
Putting their plan into action, Tim, Marc, Rekel and Mynne make their way into Gentopia. Meanwhile, Julia and the others visit the clinic, hoping to find Kiet there, but it appears to be deserted.
Julia, Grandpa and Floor find Kiet at the clinic, but he's in very bad shape, and things take a surprising turn when Dr Musselman arrives. Tim and Marc try their best to deceive Gentopia security and allow the others time to escape.
Marc and the children are discovered and have to try to find another exit from Gentopia. Cleo begins her press conference, but there are surprises in store for her.
