In a true story, Yoshiko and Yuriko relates the journey and great love affair of Yoshiko, who was a renowned translator of Russian literature and drama, and Yuriko, who was a feminist novelist and great activist of the post-war democratic literature movement. Both have left huge marks on Japanese literary history. The two women shared a strong attraction to each other from their first meeting and enjoyed a powerful love affair. Yoshiko reveals that she's an out lesbian, whilst Yuriko is married (not altogether happily) to a well-known scholar - a situation she can't walk away from with ease.

Rahabi has an acapella music group called Rujak Acapella. It consists of friends with different backgrounds. Hitu, who aspires to be a Banser because they once helped his family during a riot in Ambon. Markus, a Christian Chinese descendant, Sayid , A Muhammadiyah Muslim who wants to be a novelist and Tiara, a girl who has a crush on Rahabi, Rahabi's father, Syamsul, is in an Islamic Militia Organization known as Banser. He spends a lot of time in the organization that he barely has any time for his family. Rahabi takes responsibility to pay for her sister study, so he needs to be successful. Filled with strong determination and ambition, Rahabi aims to have an album release. Aldi, a music producer, offers Rujak Acapella a record deal with one condition; Aisha has to be in it. She used to be a famous teen singer but decided to stop. In order to get Aisha to join the group, Rahabi is willing to do anything she says. She gives him a task to interview Melinda, a lecturer who had just been let go because of hate speech accusation. Not once did Rahabi thought that he would become a hard-line Muslim, but without realizing, he slowly becomes one. His friends and family, of course, take notice. Given this situation, Rahabi has to take action even if it means letting go of his only opportunity to success.

CONSUMED is a film about life's most important minutes. The protagonists of the film are persons over the age of 55 - those who have more than 30 million minutes of life behind them. The most important minutes in their lives have already happened and their last minute is drawing nearer and nearer. The film follows the protagonists from the point they answer a public invitation to persons over the age of 55, it shows their partaking in an audition and in the process of making a theatre performance and a documentary film. They are challenged to tell about the most important minute in their life in as many seconds as their age. They talk about life and death, happiness and pain in a brutally honest way. Are they "consumed", and if so, is it because the best years of their life are behind them? Or are they "consumed" because they live in a society that casts them away and treats them as a burden and a redundancy. The documentary CONSUMED records the process in which the protagonists become more than just randomly gathered individuals: As a collective, they have to deal with the decades of their own silence and to take the responsibility for the world in ruins they are leaving to the new generations. Because of the fact that they grew up and were working in a completely different social system, the protagonists question whether they in their 30 million minutes have missed to contribute to their society and community. Do they have the strength and determination to prove that they are not "consumed" and to give the minutes they have left for a better and a more just society?
