Khan knows Kline murdered Rawlinson but needs him to route out corruption at a higher level. McAvoy continues to lie about having no money for Kline while Malleson believes he can take the strip club by force.
Kline has a violent clash with the Irish. Rafiq meets his mysterious British backers, and a lady named Sarah Gant wants to set up a prostitution ring with Malleson.
Dermot McAvoy falls to his death on a building site. Rafiq begins "Operation Blackbird" bringing in illegal immigrants. Kline fails to catch Mallinson but falls into his trap when Sarah Gant points him to a derelict building.
Kline is shot by Mallinson but his life is saved by Khan. Arrested, Sarah Gant is Dinah Carmichael's sister so Kline won't press charges. Rafiq recruits Kline to run drugs but he needs the inside knowledge of Ann Darracott.
