Once upon a time, there was a princess named Snow White. Her jealous stepmother wanted her dead, so Snow White fled the castle and found friendship with the forest animals and the Seven Dwarfs. Meanwhile, her stepmother learns from her magic mirror that Snow White is still alive and puts on a disguise so she won't be recognized, and tightens a silk sash around Snow White's waist, then tricks her into bobbing for a poisoned apple. Both items cause Snow White to fall into a deep sleep, but she is finally awakened when a king (formerly a prince) happens by her coffin in the forest and whispers the last word she said before eating the apple. They marry and live happily ever after.
