Ersin visits South Africa's Kruger nature reserve, a rather luxurious tourist attraction, notably for the 'big five', but also the scene of violent armed confrontations on accounting of poaching. Local Ranger recruits are trained, often as first and only job. The usually hopelessly amateur poachers are at a sometimes deadly disadvantage, or end up in jail for years is caught, but rarely deterred, as most come from neighboring Mozambique, where unemployment offers no near-lucrative alternative.
