The deniers - and the truth. Judaism, racism and Nazism have a long history - also in Sweden. Two journalistic documentaries describe how fanaticism, lie and intolerance have affected individuals and Swedish society. The second program, the "deniers" is about people and movements that today try to deny and trivialize that German Nazism systematically murdered approx. 6 million European Jews. The purpose of the programs is to put a sharp auditing light on how extremistism and racism have been attached to Sweden.

Svenska kommunister del 1 Ett bedrägligt paradis
A deceptive paradise. From the unemployment and fighting spirit of the 1930s, we follow the history of the communist movement, back to 1917. Endless class differences, deep poverty and the presence of a vision become the breeding ground for a new ideology. The labor movement splits and the Swedish Communist Party is formed. The party is quickly tied more and more tightly to Moscow, where Stalin rules with an iron fist. In the 1930s, hundreds of Swedish communists went to the Soviet Union to help build a new paradise.

Svenska kommunister del 2 Rörelse i korseld
Movement in crossfire. The start of World War II was a disaster for many Swedish communists. Sweden's Communist Party followed Soviet war policy. The party was cut in half and many members were placed in camps. But when the Soviet war fortunes turned, the Swedish party was also able to win new sympathizers. A brief period of success was dramatically interrupted by the Cold War.

Svenska kommunister del 3 Revolution tur och retur.
Revolution round trip. In the 60s, a new generation woke up to political involvement. With violent energy, young communists broke with both the authorities of Swedish society and the established Swedish Communist Party. It became a giddy youth revolt which soon developed into new hard small communist groups. They engaged in mock executions and book burnings. Some appear today as comical, others purely tragic.
