In 2014, the emergency services in Oslo receive a call from Øystein, a successful businessman who claims that his American guests tried to murder him. When the police arrive, they find him seriously injured in a pool of blood.
The American couple Neil and Eryka stay at Øystein's house while they explore Oslo for a few days. During a nice dinner, the mood suddenly changes and the couple perceives Øystein as threatening and dangerous.
Øystein tries to get his life together while suffering from physical and mental problems. Neil's explanations during the interrogation seem ambiguous and questionable.
