Shukla, a power-hungry politician, plots to topple the government. Two luckless strangers find that they have a common enemy and a thirst for revenge.

The team takes shape as Ansari and J.P. Yadav join forces with a bumbling cop and a wily con man and hatch a plot to steal Shukla's ill gotten cash.

Avinash's wife was pregnant when she suddenly died of food poisoning. This was 20 years ago when Bishnu was a young boy. He always suspected that poison was added to his sister's food. Avinash was a rising criminal and his parents could not control him. So, they got him married to a simple village girl. But Avinash used to stay away from his wife, as an astrologer told him that Avinash is in danger from his own child. Avinash also had many affairs throughout the city to satisfy his needs. But whenever he went back to his village, he got sexually frustrated and had sex with his wife.

Avinash suspected that his wife was pregnant. Bishnu lost his voice when his sister died. Avinash felt bad for Bishnu and brought him to the city with him. As Bishnu grew up, he started managing the party office. Asthana was jealous of Bishnu as only Bishnu knew the real quantum of Avinash's wealth. Bishnu was looking for an opportunity to avenge his sister's death.

Jhumpa (Niharika Lyra Dutt) is Triloki's girlfriend and the gang gathers in her basement where she runs a VR parlor. Jhumpa is a self-taught coder and a hacker. Jhumpa doesn't like that Triloki is a thief. The gang doesn't trust Jhumpa and tests her love for Triloki. They tempt both of them anonymously with a chance to cheat on the other, but they both decline the offers and pass the test.

The gang gathers in Jhumpa's basement to decide the strategy. Baankey wants equal share for all participants, but JP objects to this for Bishnu, but the other members overrule him.

Bela (Monika Panwar) is Baankey's younger sister and has just gotten pregnant, even though she is not married. Bela is intelligent and has a sharp mind, but she doesn't accept authority easily. She is a sharpshooter and was kicked out of the police academy for playing pranks on her instructor. She is now employed as a news anchor.

When Bela finds that she is pregnant, she calls Ansari. Ansari and Bela met a few years ago when Ansari used to come to Bela's roof to fly kites. Bela used to study there. Bela was attracted to Ansari, but he never saw her. Bela then propositioned Ansari directly and they end up starting a relationship. They hid this relationship from Baankey. Eventually, Bela and Ansari had sex and Bela got pregnant. Bela wants to marry Ansari, but he is clueless about Bela's situation and reacts negatively to the suggestion.

Meanwhile, Avinash sets fire to Pathaani Tola to send a very clear warning to Shabbir. The fire was set on Shabbir's house. Mintu was also there and it is clear that Mintu was working with Avinash on Pathaani Tola. When Ansari gets there with Baankey, he realizes that the fire was set by Mintu and Arunoday. In front of the entire slum, Ansari beats up Mintu and his Maachis goons. Ansari's actions also attract attention from Bela, who gets there with her TV station crew and covers the entire incident. Bela picks up on the story that Mintu and the Maachis party are behind the Pathaani Tola fire. The Police IG informs Asthana, who informs Avinash.

Bela covers the Pathaani Told fire on her channel and brings Avinash into the focus. She says that slum dwellers protested against Avinash. When Avinash is scared, he stutters.

The IG arrests Ansari from the slums for beating up Mintu and Arunoday. Avinash knows that Ansari can be a future rival to him. Avinash asks the IG to get a full history on Ansari. As the protest against Avinash gathers pace, Bela's medical reports are picked up by the police working for Avinash.

Avinash summons Baankey for a meeting. He knows that Baankey and Ansari are working together and wants to drive a wedge between them. Avinash reveals to Baankey that Bela is having an affair and with Ansari. He plants the idea that Ansari has betrayed Baankey's trust. Avinash does not reveal Bela's pregnancy to Baankey as he wants him to investigate the issue himself.

Baankey had Ansari's phone, which he had given to Baankey before starting the scuffle with Mintu. Baankey uses the phone to call Bela and confirms his suspicion that Bela is indeed having an affair with Ansari. Bela packs a dinner for Ansari and puts a note inside. He sends the dinner to Ansari via Baankey. Baankey confronts Ansari in the locker and asks him to stay away from Bela.

The incumbent CM knows that Avinash is instigating the fire in Pathaani Tola to benefit Shenoy Builders. CM confronts Avinash and says that he knows Avinash is planning to topple the Government and make a play for the CM's post all by himself. Avinash finds out that the CM is trying to buy off the MLAs of his party to weaken Avinash's position. Avinash intercepts the meeting where the ruling party representative is trying to buy off his MLAs. Avinash shoots down the leader of the MLA faction from his party to quell the rebellion.

Turns out Pandit Ji survived the attack from Madan Singh. It was Bishnu to followed Madan Singh and Pandit Ji when they left Avinash's house. He saw Madan Singh shoot Pandit Ji and throw him into the river from a bridge. Bishnu rescued Pandit Ji from death. Bishnu tells Pandit Ji that a plan is in the works to bring down Avinash. It is also revealed that Bishnu can indeed speak, and the mute persona is just to evoke a sympathy factor in Avinash. It was Pandit Ji who had performed prayers and rituals to help Bishnu get his voice back.

Due to the fire, the slum at Pathaani Tola was under constant media presence. Avinash realizes that he is making a martyr out of Ansari by keeping him in jail. Avinash gets Ansari released on bail. Baankey is livid that Ansari got bail. He learns from the court official that Avinash may be behind Ansari's bail.

The 6 gang members get together: Ansari, JP, Baankey, Triloki, Bishnu and Pandit Ji. Bishnu says that the amount in play is Rs 600 Crores, and the plan is to steal it from Avinash's party office. Jhumpa finds out that Triloki is using her parlor as the base of his gang meetings and is upset with Triloki. Jhumpa had tracked the laptop from which she received the anonymous messages asking her to come out for a date. The laptop belonged to Baankey and he admits that he was testing Jhumpa and Triloki and that they passed the test. Jhumpa is super angry that Triloki is planning another heist. Triloki says that the amount in play is Rs 600 Crores.

Mintu confronts Avinash for releasing Ansari on bail. Mintu wants Ansari dealt with. Avinash refuses to allow Mintu to touch Ansari. Mintu abducts Bela.

An abduction pushes Bela to take matters into her own hands. The gang scrambles after a drunken Baankeylal puts their mission in jeopardy.

A Maharaj suddenly appears in Avinash's room and knows about his Urinary Bladder infection. Like Avinash had bought Bela's medical reports, the Maharaj had bought Avinash's reports from the diagnostic center.

Avinash is convinced that Choona Maharaj is a great astrologer. Maharaj says that Avinash aspires to a higher position and is about to carry out a large cash transaction. Maharaj asks Avinash to wear an emerald in a steel band, so that the impact of all his other gemstones is not getting nullified by each other.

Maharaj says that Avinash will be free of his Venereal Disease on the 13th day, and he also tells Avinash that on the 21st day, between 2 and 4 PM, the cash should remain in Avinash's room. This is the exact time at which the gang have planned their robbery at Avinash's party office. The Maharaj also tells Avinash that he has recently built an animosity with a youth. Maharaj tells Avinash to end the feud, else the feud will end him. The Maharaj then tells Madan Singh to drop him at the bridge where Madan Singh attacked Pandit Ji. Maharaj tells Madan Singh that he has committed endless sins and asks him to atone for the same.

Turns out that the Maharaj is Triloki in disguise. Triloki was trained by Pandit Ji on the art and science of Astrology. Triloki is made to wake up everyday at 4 AM, take baths with ice cold water, learn the science behind gemstones and the allowed pairing of gemstones with metals. Eventually, Triloki is properly trained and takes his place as a peer of Pandit JI.

Bela tells Ansari that she is pregnant with his child. Bela says that she will not marry Ansari as she knows Ansari's plan to steal the money from Avinash. Avinash calls Ansari and asks for a meeting. Avinash says that he will give Ansari a party ticket and protection to Bela, if Ansari helps calm down the agitation at Pathaani Tola. Ansari is committed to the cause of Pathaani Tola, but also cares about Bela. He agrees to meet Avinash.

Jhumpa creates a VR simulation of Avinash's party office to help plan for the heist. Avinash asks Bishnu to find Choona Maharaj and bring him back for a meeting. Bishnu contacts Triloki and bring him back to the party office to meet Avinash. Maharaj gains access to Avinash's bathroom to figure out an exit strategy. Maharaj tells Avinash that his toilet seat is the wrong direction and asks him to change the toilet seat to the adjacent wall. Maharaj then examines Avinash's horoscope. He says that the money is cursed and the only way to purify it is under the rays of an eclipsed sun. Maharaj says that if Avinash tries to use the money before the purification of the money and the changing of the toilet seat direction, it will lead to destruction.

Maharaj says that he will perform a ritual in the eclipse period in Avinash's room, at which time Avinash himself should not be in the room. The solar eclipse is on 28th of the month, between 2 and 4 PM, the exact time of the planned heist. Avinash meets Shenoy and asks for Rs 500 Crores and promises to put Rs 300 Crores from his own side. He wants the cash delivered by the 27th of the month, prior to the solar eclipse. The plan is to topple the Government on the 1st.

Bela tells Baankey about her pregnancy and wants his permission to marry Ansari. Bela says that she does not want an abortion but will go with Baankey's decision as she respects him and will not do anything without his consent. Baankey asks for some time. Baankey is secretly very happy that his sister still loves him and that he is going to be an uncle.

The gang starts planning the heist using the VR layout of Party office created by Jhumpa. Ansari does training to transfer the money in large bag, using a zip-line and then rappel down himself. But Ansari is making a parallel deal with Avinash and hasn't informed the gang about it. Ansari makes a deal with Avinash to step away from Pathaani Tola, in exchange for an election ticket.

Bela informs Baankey about Ansari's deal.

The gang is in shock regarding Ansari's deal with Avinash. They fear that Ansari may also have revealed the whole plan to Avinash. Triloki says that had Ansari revealed the plan, Avinash would have destroyed him. He asks the gang to have courage and to stick to the plan. Triloki is a leftist from college and had always wanted to use anarchy to challenge the system. He believes that only youth can bring a revolution. Triloki says that he has no animosity with Avinash, but Avinash is still his biggest enemy as he represents the exploitation of the masses, the common man.

The new plan includes JP doing the bits earlier assigned to Ansari. JP has to attach a zip line in Avinash's bathroom, send the money bags down the zip line and then rappel down himself. JP refuses to rappel down the bathroom which is on the first floor. Bishnu suggests that they can walk out the same way that they came in.

Next, Triloki and Jhumpa make up. Triloki wants to propose to Jhumpa before the heist and goes to a jeweler to buy a gold chain for her for their anniversary. By mistake, the chain falls into Triloki's bag, and he is arrested for theft. Baankey is livid that Triloki got arrested 3 days before the heist. Baankey bribes a court officer to prepare the bail papers for Triloki.

JP enters Avinash's office as the plumber who will shift the toilet seat and install a new shower. The cash is delivered by Sheny to Avinash's party office. Unknown to Bishnu, Avinash has installed lasers to protect the money.

Baankey wants to include Bela in the plan. Bela has a police uniform from the time when she trained at the police academy. She also has gas mask equipment which she brings for the heist. Baankey and Bela cover their face with the gas masks and go to arrest Madan Singh from a brothel. Madan Singh was a major obstacle to their plan. Bela sprays Madan Singh with a sedating agent, and Baankey hits him with a fire extinguisher and Madan Singh falls unconscious. Bela and Baankey chain Madan Singh inside the brothel room and seal the door.

Baankey later tells Bela that he will support her in whatever she decides regarding Ansari and her yet unborn child. The day of the heist arrives. Pandit Ji starts his Yagna to bring favorable conditions for the gang. Jhumpa and JP take an ambulance to near Avinash's party office. Bishnu invites all the guards to watch a VR film. He also circulates a warning saying that guards should not step out during the solar eclipse.

The VR film starts just before 2 PM. Avinash had put a blockade around the whole area surrounding his party office. JP and Jhumpa are not able to get near the party office due to the blockade, promoting Bishnu to come and help. Bishnu loads them on his bike and takes them through the jungle route, but they are spotted by the police and followed.

Maharaj/Triloki starts the rituals in Avinash's office to purify the cash. Avinash tells him that he has installed lasers in the cash room for extra protection. Maharaj is not able to inform the gang about this new layer of protection. Avinash suspects Maharaj when he is unable to answer a few procedural questions about the ritual. Avinash challenges Maharaj to a quiz, which he is able to ace.

Bishnu leaves Jhumpa and JP and a field near to the office and goes back in. But the police arrives shortly thereafter and finds JP and Jhumpa. Jhumpa and JP are arrested as they are not able to explain their presence outside the party office.

A surprising development propels the plan forward. Will the stars align for these misfits or will fortune fall in Shukla's favor?
