Sylvia is a wealthy woman whose marriage falls apart when her husband is arrested. Without financial resources, she moves with her children to the brothel that she inherited from her deceased father.
After the discovery of human remains on the Chaussée d'Amour the federal detective Ludo Beets starts an investigation. He has his suspicions. In the meantime Sylvia meets the local pharmacist and her son Sep makes a grave mistake.
Sylvia starts a new job, Sep and Eva pay their grandmother a visit and Ludo goes to the hospital to confront Willy. Sep's mistake comes with expensive consequences and the Cats girls ask Sylvia to exploit their brothel.
Sylvia has decided to exploit Cats. She starts renovating the place, she starts looking for new girls and she plans a big opening party. The Cats ladies bump into some obstacles: Bijou gets trapped and Sandy has a problem with a customer.
Ludo and Sam discover new clues about the twenty year old murder case. Sylvia and Jérôme are starting to fall in love with each other and decide to have a dinner. Meanwhile Willy makes a deal with an Albanian pimp.
Colette is interrogated by Ludo and Sam. When she returns to Cats she notices that Bijou is flirting with her clients. Sylvia isn't happy when Bijou decides to work for Alek. Eva struggles with heartbreak and Ludo is getting more answers.
Ludo figures out what Valentina's statement to the police from 20 years ago is really about and her "horse with a clown's face". Sandy discovers she has a problem. Joëlle ends up in the difficult situation.
Sylvia bans Willy from Cats. The police arrest Collette over Allaire's murder. Joëlle is slowly recovering from her attack, whilst Bijou and Sandy plan revenge.
The marriage of Sylvia and Daniël can no longer be saved. Therefore Daniël seeks solace in the arms of Sandy. Sylvia and Collette come to heads. Willy takes drastic measures.
Willy's death causes a shockwave along the Chaussée. Whilst everyone's mourning, Ludo is convinced that he doesn't yet know the truth about the murder.
