Now at home, Wali connects with his Muslim identity and faith despite facing Islamophobia. This recommitment informs his art and his new mission to not only take care of his mental health but his community as well.

Brittany Nguyen - Being Authentically Asian
Brittany Nguyen (she/her) is a Vietnamese filmmaker from Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario. Brittany's mother was her connection to her Vietnamese roots and to her extended family. After losing her mother to cancer before graduating high school, that was severed . Now, as she tries to make a reconnection, she reflects on what it really means to be "authentically" Asian.
