Sofia, the choreographer, is looking for the last dancers who will make up the Crazy Horse Singapore troop. Four young women with very different physical appearances pass the auditions and get their baptism into the group.
Of the four new dancers, Laure, dubbed Lady Rickshaw, will be the first to go on stage and face the audience. All the dancers agree; this is a big moment, and also the most stressful part of a career at the Crazy Horse.
Fasty, who comes back to the Crazy Horse after a nose operation, will have to catch up after her 10-day absence. While, all her fellow-dancers have had their debuts, Fasty has trouble finding her marks. Her moves are sloppy, she hasn't got the beat and Sofia hesitates putting her on stage.
All the new dancers have successfully made it through their debut on stage. A few days before they leave for Singapore, the girls, excited by the idea of leaving everything behind for six months, are apprehensive of the unknown.
The entire troop is now in Singapore to discover a new and long-awaited Crazy Horse. As the adventure nears its end, they will have to prove to Sofia that they are up to the challenge of a big opening night in this new cabaret.
