The first attempt in 1984 by Julie Tullis, the famous British climber and photographer, to climb K2, the second highest mountain in the world - and the deadliest. It is said that almost one in 4 of those that reach the summit die on the mountain. Two years later it was to claim the life of Julie. This is the story of how she and her climbing partner, cameraman Kurt Diemberger, set out to reach 'the elusive summit' with a Swiss expedition.

Two British hang-glider pilots pioneer a route through the jungle to be the first to make a hang-glider flight off Venezuela's spectacular Angel Falls. This one of the highest uninterrupted waterfalls in the world. Angel Falls is 3212 feet in height and the waterfall drop is 2648 feet.
