Ellen visits the Roman spa town of Acqui Terme, braving boiling water and atrocious odours. She greets a parade of Ferrari's, and the thunder roars as she descends into a bizarre modern mausoleum.
Ellen moves on to Marienbad, in the Czech Republic, to learn why it became a royal favourite. After bathing in a King's bathtub, she's serenaded by a singing fountain, and braves a shaky cable car ride. (3/7)
Ellen's welcomed to the glorious Czech town of Karlovy Vary with a curious underground tour, and a red-hot water jet, before staying in a hotel from a James Bond film, and taking a scary zip line ride.
Ellen's final day in the Czech Republic sees her learning a lot about mud. She also releases a bird back to the wild, visits an aquapark, and quickly regrets sticking her head down a hole in the ground.
Starting her day in the glorious thermal pools, Ellen is enjoying her visit to Baden Baden. That is, until she tries the cold plunge pool. But a visit to the casino, and a vineyard soon make up for it.
Wiesbaden is the final stop on Ellen's tour, where she is stunned by amazing thermal buildings, and delighted by a visit to a famous cake shop. She discovers a naked spa and meets a Wine Princess.
