Summary Masamori Sumimura, chief of the Night Troops, is the oldest son in the Sumimura family. Though gifted, Masamori was not born with the Hoin mark, creating a somewhat strained relationship with his younger brother Yoshimori. One night, Yoshimori and Tokine battle against Sasorigama. Unable to pierce through the Ayakashi's tough exterior, the two find themselves at odds when Masamori makes a surprise return to the Karasumori site.
