In 1956 eight students testified in a federal desegregation court case. As Mexican Americans, they were placed in three years of first grade as a way to discriminate against them by the all White school board, administration and faculty. Stolen Education documents the journey to recapture the remarkable story of the schoolchildren who changed educational history in Texas and to confront the continued inequity in public schools today.

Jonalyn and her father go on a search for Apong Bisen, her grandfather who went hunting in the forest and did not return to cast his vote for the election. Throughout the journey, Manoro depicts the relationship between Jonalyn and her fellow villagers, her eagerness to help the people, as well as the various traditional fractions of the Aetas.

Through moving and detailed testimonies, the documentary explores the significant Chilote heritage in the architecture of an emerging Patagonia at the end of the 19th century. The houses and buildings, built by skilled Chilote carpenters, are the center of this narrative that remembers and honors those builders whose history has been largely forgotten in official records. Using wood as a raw material and ingenuity as their main tool, numerous families from Chiloé settled in Magallanes, building the region that we know today, board by board. "Ensamble Patagonia" highlights not only the architecture, but also the stories of hope and effort of the Chilotes who sought a better life in this new land. A visual testimony that rescues and preserves a fundamental part of Magellan's history, inviting us to reflect on the identity and cultural memory of the region.
