The Lost Temple of Java

Summary The discovery 200 hundred years ago of the massive stone structure of Borodudur abandoned in the jungle of central Java naturally gave rise to many questions. Even the most basic questions like; what is it doing in the middle of a wilderness and how was it built are a puzzle. Only in recent years has it become clear that it is the largest Buddhist temple ever built and it is more than a thousand years old.
