A powerful three-part documentary studying the US involvement in Guatemala, El Salvador and Nicaragua. The differing factions - Sandinista leaders, Guatemalan campesinos, CIA operatives, Contras and US government apologists - are interviewed and, in the absence of a controlling narration, the audience is encouraged to draw its own conclusions.

Described by Japanese sources of the time as a record of the Chinese city and the history of the "Sino-Japanese Affair" up to the present. A propaganda picture which naturally is very critical of the Chinese government prior to the Japanese Occupation, and which focuses on the Japanese troops stationed there. Meanwhile we get an impression of everyday life as it unfolds around those waiting in line - the canal boats, the street musicians, the ticket seller, the homeless man... For all its poignancy "In Line for Anne Frank" is a document that also inspires hope.
