Summary Bird expert Josh enlists Chris' help when a baby cokactoo with a limp leg is found on a golf course after the small bird fell out of its nest. Setting the fracture of such a tiny leg may however be easier said than done but of course Chris doesn't shy away from a challenge. Later on he goes to the children's wing of the hospital to visit together with burns victim Sophie Delezio other very ill children. Sophie started after her own accident a foundation for sick children and today she will give together with Chris stuffed animal dogs to the sick children in the hospital to help lift their spirits. Lisa in the mean time tries to help a new orphan Denise from PAWS picked up at the animal shelter. The small dog Olivia has a heart murmur and if she doesn't get an operation the little dog will soon come to die. A new technique is applied on Olivia to help her without an invasive open heart surgery but it remains to be seen whether Andrew still won't have to step in after all.
