The farmers are an inspiration about cycles of life, and the importance of small scale farming as a means toward better personal and planetary health.

On board a factory trawler from a small village in the north of Iceland, a group of fishermen have found an unusual way to deal with the rough life at sea. They put together a band - No Bone No Skin. The music of - No Bone No Skin stays close to home and deals with the everyday life of the fishermen, their longings, hopes, fears and desires. In fact it is their own work songs.

Manufacturing Romance tells the love and marriage stories of the new generation of Chinese migrant workers, gives an intimate look at the emotional and marital dilemma faced by two couples of young migrant workers. By tracking them through all the efforts they have made to get out of the dilemma, the film shows how different they are from their parents in understanding the concept of marriage. When the global trend of urbanization forces them to choose between loves they have been pursuing and parents who live in their hometown and need them to take care of, what should they do?

When the adoptive parents of a Cambodian orphan girl decide to adopt two more orphans, the U.S. government suspends adoptions from Cambodia. The girls, 6- and 8-year-old sisters, wait in a Phnom Penh orphanage while their adoptive mother fights her way to their side. The story of a mother's faith and unyielding determination.
