The ship's final resting ground used to be one of the greatest polar mysteries. But now, the search for The Endurance, which sank in 1915, is finally over. On March 9, 2022, the 'Endurance22' expedition team announced that the wreck had been found in the Weddell Sea off the coast of Antarctica. The 106-year-old vessel lies at a depth of about 10,000 feet.
