Summary "American Idol" - Top 13 Results - March 10, 2011

Ryan tells us that 30 million votes came in last night. He tells us that the save is back in effect, it can be used one time before the top 5.

Ryan informs us that Casey is sick in the hospital so he's missing from the group formation.

We get a video package of the gang arriving and moving into "Idol" mansion and being very excited and overwhelmed.

Group Sing: Medley: "Wannabe Startin' Somethin'"/"Rock With You"/"Black and White"/"Man in the Mirror," Michael Jackson. It's weird some of it sounds live and some of it sounds lip-synched? Maybe live microphones over recorded tracks? There's a lot of elaborate blocking for this one and the gang execute it pretty well. (Wonder how glad Casey is to have missed that.)

Ford Commercial: "The World," the group is in a cut and paste/collage world and they "build" a stage to sing on.

We get a video package of the gang going to the premiere of "Red Riding Hood." They meet some of the stars including Gary Oldman. Star Amanda Seyfried is in the audience and Ryan chats with her briefly. We actually see video of them watching the movie in the theatre. We then get their very positive reviews.

Results: Ryan brings up Stefano, Karen, and Jacob and tells them they're all safe... except Karen.

Performance: Adam Lambert. He does an understated, seated, acoustic version of "Aftermath." He's rocking a short 'do and light make-up. Ryan and Adam and JLo banter after the performance.

Results: Next is Lauren, Ashthon, and Haley. Only Lauren is safe.

Bottom three: Karen, Haley, Ashthon

Performance: Diddy Dirty Money, featuring Skylar Grey. "Coming Home."

Going Home: Ashthon Jones as the judges decline to use their save after she gives Diana Ross another whirl.

The show debuts the new going away song: David Cook's version of Simple Minds' "Don't You Forget About Me"
