Ryan says there are shocking results coming tonight.

Group Sing: A lip-synch of a Lennon/McCartney Medley including "Here, There and Everywhere," "Got To Get You Into My Life," "Fool On The Hill," "All You Need is Love," "She Loves You," and

Ford Commercial: "Will it Go Round in Circles," Billy Preston. It's a kaleidoscope theme.

Results #1: It's top nine week so that means it's time for the three mini-dramas. The first finds Katie, Siobhan, and Crystal taking center stage only to be told they're all safe.

Performance: Jason DeRulo, "Whatcha Say" and "In My Head" His elaborate song-and-dance gets kudos from mentor Kara and and impressed Simon.

Ryan tells us Adam Lambert will be next week's mentor but says of the theme only that it's "very special."

Performance: David Archuleta, "Imagine" He sounds great but does the weird abridged version that omits the "no religion too" verse.

Results #2: Now it's two groups time with the six guys. In one group Lee, Casey, and Tim and the other Mike, Aaron and Andrew. The former group is safe, the latter group is the bottom three.

Bottom Three: Aaron, Andrew, and Michael. Ryan sends Aaron immediately to safety.
